I had to get to the shoes on my 14b, and obviously I lost the gear oil that lubricated the bearings. I need to do some more work to it, but I need it on level ground. I need to move it downhill about 50ft. The pumpkin still has oil, but the wheel wearings do not. Would this couse an issue if I moved it this way? Im gonna be doing this in a few hours...

Thanks in advance...

That short of a distance and without driving it you'll be fine.

Did you remove the seal and clean the gear oil out of the hub and bearings or only lose what gear oil was in there?

No you'll be fine. The oil on them will keep them lubricated. Just do it slowly. I've seen engines run for ages with little or no oil. Oil clings really good unless it gets very hot or severe pressure squeezes it out of the way.

Nah, just lost the loose oil. Bearings stayed in place.

Thanks a lot guys. I didn't think it would be a problem, but just wanted to check.
