Hey guys, I'm shopping around for rear quarters, rockers and fenders. Any idea on the fitment of the cross canada parts? Seems most of the body shops are using them around here. Was quoted $370 CAD for a complete rear quarter from NAPA and that was out of the crosscanadaparts.com catalogue.

Any other suggestions for good body panels? I haven't checked ebay yet for NOS ones, but will do.

its a 1990 k5 gonna get repainted to a nice BLACK BEAUTY

thanks in advance for the input guys,

Josh.

i'm a pretty good source for body panels :P i have a set of fenders that are in REALLY good shape if you're interested. i got em free so i'd sell them cheap. about crosscanada: i've dealt with them on a pickup and the cab corners were close but not right, the rockers were right on and the door patches were good aswell.

Cross Canada is your best source locally... Their boxsides are awful though, definitely try to hunt down an OEM set if you can.

Well, my experience was with an 8 foot box, the sides were very tinny, and had a bunch of waves in the side of them. The bolt holes for everything were poorly lined up, and it was just generally looking to be way more work than being worth keeping them. Returned them for a full refund, and bought a decent OEM box instead.

The shorter K5 sheet metal might be a bit better off..

thanks for the input guys, I ordered a set of rear quarter panels and rockers from NAPA (Cross-Canada Parts). $411 for the right rear quarter and $360 for the left. $22 for each rocker panel (All shipped + taxes). I'll post up on the quality and results when I get them installed. Gettin excited now!
