Can't Believe no one makes a york bracket for 73-87 chevy's

WHY? There are tons of them out there and from what I can tell they should be EASY to mass produce. Come on somebody make a jig and weld some up!!!
 
There is one- in the salvage yards.
Look on the SBC equiped RVs.

I took mine off yes, only cause it wasn't working in the first place. But I've seen pics of others who have done their OBA and still use the stock a/c pump.
 
Using that bracket yes. But I'm sure there are enough inventive people around here who can figure out a way to keep the factory AC and run a york. :cool1:
 
In case yall didnt know, tractors come almost exclusively with york compressors for their a/c systems. Case, John Deere, and most others as far as I know have them. One of my dad's friends collects tractors (hes a farmer too) and they have yorks laying around all over the place. Also, some of the tractor yorks are made entirely of steel.
