Carb and Brake Q

1-I bought a carb that is from a non 700r4 truck. Is there a way i could get a hold of the little deally that the tv cable hooks on to? The hole is already there but on my old carb it appears to be riveted in. A carb shop maybe???

2-I need to replace the pads on my front end. I was just gonna get reman calipers at the same time. What is the diff. between a loaded and unloaded caliper or do I even need to replace them??

1 - need a pic of your carb , what kind etc .

2 - Loaded means the calipers come WITH the pads , otherwise you have to buy pads if you get cheaper calipers .

But the calipers do have like the pistons and stuff in them even unloaded?

Holley and Edelbrock sell the " little deally that the tv cable hooks on to." You may find it at a Kragen or Auto Zone. I know you can order 'em out of Summit catalog... www.summitracing.com
