So i want to rebuild my carb for my 350. Whats the best kit, and is it hard to do?

It's the '84, right? (need to spell these things out in your posts if you don't have it in your signature!)

You need to check and see if there are any wires running to the carb, and specifically three on the drivers side front of the carb.

o yea sorry, its for a 79 350. No wires, except for the ac solenoid.

not too sure on the quadrajets but i just did my Edlebrock and it wasn't as hard as i thought. alot of parts in there but not as hard as one would think. i've been told Q-jets are easy to rebuild too. so i'd haveto do it myself to know for sure

fairly easy rebuild then. There probably will be no "best" kit, all the kits I've seen come with the parts that a monkey could make, essentially they are just gasket kits.

One thing most don't do themselves is bush the primary throttle shaft. Need to check and see if it has vertical/side to side slop (not in/out, that's normal) and if it does, it needs to be bushed.

You should have a Quadrajet. Take the carb into the parts store with you to make sure you get the right kit.

Buy a float too (they don't come in rebuild kits), it sucks to have an old float sink and flood the motor.
