Building a k5 blazer with a 5.7 create motor. Want to use a quadrajet carb with a 700r4 trans.Who makes the upgraded arm for the carb to control the tv cable to the transmission properly.the only place I have found is made by Bowtie.com.Has anyone found a resolution to this problem??

I have been running mine with only the factory carburetor stud for years. I also have a shift kit in mine. It isn't quite as nicely timed for downshifts as my '72 C10 with the Bowtie Overdrives kit on the Edelbrock carb. I have just never spent the money on the Q-jet truck to buy the kit.
I had to add a reinforcement at the throttle cable mount on it, then work on the throttle pedal stop to get it correct.

If your Q-jet was on a vehicle originally equipped with TH-350 or 700R4 then the linkage on the carb is perfect for a 700R4 TV cable. If you can post a picture of the linkage on your carb I can confirm.
