carbed LS

Im going to pick it up this weekend.I'll post up some pics, and I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions.

Yeah, but it would at least be injected. :)

But yes, the no-distributor issue would be somewhat problematic. With no "E" tranny however, the ignition problem has probably already been worked out.

I know coil on plug setups have been made to work with earlier EFI so if other people have done it, the knowledge is already out there. Doesn't cost anything to research.

Tuning would definitely be required, but I assume any retrofit requires some tuning, if just for gearing differences?

By all means yes, research won't hurt a thing. But it he wanted to switch from carb to ls based fuel injection it can be done easily for under 500$ that's including somebody to tune it.

I just don't see the point in the added effort in re creating the wheel so to speak, ls swaps have become so main stream the parts and information is readily available.

I will say I'd be intrigued if it could be made to work!!

LOL, one comparison I found on TBI'ing an LS motor was using a black and white tv with a playstation 3.

Same person says that the LS parts/components are so cheap now, that's dumb not to just run the LS injection as intended. I agree with that, just thought MAYBE it would be a bit cheaper to keep the TBI and just adapt the LS to it. Not so.
