Carnage thread

Oh yea, major carnage from me...

Monday I lost my CB antenna, borrowed the one from the Silverado to fix that.
Tuesday I realized that I cut a sidewall, which is currently plugged and still under my rig. I also had to tighten a hose clamp on a radiator hose. Then on the trail, my shifter broke, it was the stock S-10 shifter drilled out and tapped for the NV4500 stub which apparently made the threaded sleeve too thin and it broke just past the sleeve giving me a floppy shifter that wouldn't shift the tranny. I am currently borrowing the Silverado shifter, easy 6 speed upgrade! :haha:

I have had my welder out to repair a rig and there is currently a broken rig parked outside my cabin, but it's not mine and you'll have to wait until they post up to find out what broke.

Sorry for the boring carnage report. :woot:

I could post up my axial wraith's carnage, that would be a little more interesting.

Broken rear locker from the crazy slick rock traction.
Stripped out steering heim from a major high speed roll at the top of hell's gate.

I'll have it fixed today.

More "carnage" today. I dropped my phone and shattered the screen, then I blew the water pump gasket. We ran Kane creek after fixing that, then Amber's chair blew into the fire and her phone got a little melted...

so that's why you pocket dialed me.

I blew another water pump gasket yesterday... :doah:
I'm not sure what is going on with that... I replaced the whole water pump this time so hopefully it stays sealed now. It was fine yesterday as I led the newbie run through fins n things.

I actually had real carnage yesterday on behind the rocks. Center pivot ball on my front driveshaft CV broke, when it flopped around it smacked into my cross member and cracked the transfer case.

Luckily we had just gone down high dive and come back up upchuck before it broke. The crack wasn't too bad so we just unlocked the hubs and drove out. We even stopped at picture frame arch and played around in the sand dunes on the way out.

prety sure my rear end is locking up on me after 10-15 min at 55 mph. if new oil, seals, and bearings doesnt fix it, ill be sure to take pics when it blows out, because i cant put in a 14 bolt if my 12 bolt is still in one pice!:D

The Sledgehammer is having front end issues. Wore a tire down to unusable this weekend. Trying to figure out how to get it back to Colorado.
