Cell Phone antenna...

Do those Cell Phone antennas actually do anything or do people just spend a lot of money to look cool?? Looking to add as many antennas that get used as possible /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I dont know what to tell ya, but the new ones (not the lil 8" p.o.s.) they have out now every trucker I know that has a cell phone has one.

I work for a trucking company, many of the drivers say they do work, they extend the range and their calls don't get interrupted as often since they are using them.
