Changing Antifreeze 6.5 TD

Is there a way to drain the block on my 97 6.5 to drain all of the antifreeze out of the block? Or can I just drain it from the radiator/lower hose? I plan to pull my radiator in the next couple of days to change the coolant and to clean all of the bugs and debris from it and the oil coolers. Thanks, James.

i think the coolant drains on the block are behind the motor mounts.

I usually just back flush it by tapping into the heater return hose.
