changing spiders

ok so i have my pan off and was thinin of changing my spiders. broke the two ones that ride onthe pin. not the drive ones. i can get some to replace them. just need to know how to get out the bolt holding the pin in. thin sidewalled socket? think it's half inch but my socekt won't go on. idk just askin for advice. it's a 10 bolt btw

I think is is 5/16. And use a 6 point socket not a 12 point.

no this one's bigger. think someone has been in the rearend already. forkers. just not enough room to get the socket in. i'm kinda stuck

and they are NOTORIOUS for the tips breaking off inside them,,,,
