chaotick5's cummins crew cab rebuild

Shafts from wood

Yep , no viberation . Hope this set will last another 7 years ! Who makes the cool billet triple stick knobs I have seen ? I drove for a couple miles befor I relized the front output stick needed to be in the middle for the front driveline to stop .

Ive had trouble getting that same gasket to seal on mine as well
Leaves a few spots after a couple days
I used grade 7 studs from Mcmaster Carr...125000psi strength I figured the less thread use in the housing the better
Loc tighted into the housing and some nyloc nuts on top of a flat washer

more

So I got some new led lights for christmas , 4 spot lights and a light bar and decided to mount the light bar on the visor . I haven't installed the spot lights on the bumper yet , Im thinking of building a new stronger front bumper . I gutted the interior and installed some new seats and am in the process of doing an interior cage .

cage fab

some pics of the start of the cage , I am building it out of 1 1/2 dom . I hope it turns out good , Its difficult to clear the hand crank for the windows and the e brake and not have a knee killer . yes kgb I did take the seats out of the blue truck , its on the back burner . I will probably weld the cage to the rock sliders that are bolted to the frame .
