anybody got any part numbers or have a cheap 15" travel shock? im asking because im swappin in TC lifted 52's up front with ford towers. personally i havent noticed a difference between expensive shocks and cheap shocks, so thats why im lookin for something cheap, pressurized or not. i know shaffer's make 15" travel BBCS's but they are $100. for 15" is that about as cheap as im going to find or is there something cheaper? thanks

I got all 4 of mine from Summit for less than 100 shipped.
Don;t remember the part #'s but you can look on thier web site.

P.O.R.C. over on pirate sells them, i picked up a set for around a $100. he has them w/ some different valving options too.

Somebody mentioned name brand "Scratch & Dent" on eBay for cheap:D IIRC they are about $10 ea. (Pro-Comps? Maybe?) Was in a recent post about shocks.

They're not just on pirate. Here is their website, they have always been the cheapest and had the best service (give 'em a call, their website is far from complete)

i checked porc, and checked out their shocks, and for the "porc" shocks it says no product to list in this catagory. maybe they stopped selling them :(

edit: i was able to find them. $29.99 for 14.5" travel, sounds pretty good to me :)

I bought the Pro Comp ES9000 shocks that are 14" travel for about 100 when they had the buy 3 get 1 free. You have to look in the back of the application book for the PN and they also have one with 15 or 16" travel.

I can get the part number in just a few mins if you still need me to just did the swap for myself. but I used 2004 1 ton ford shock mounts the 3, 1/2 in grade 8 bolts to mount mine to my frame and got the 36 in long pro comp 9000 on mine.
