kind of pointless. we are spread all over the country, I know in Louisianna the price of gas is somewhere around 1.80 a gallon, where as its 2.10 a gallon here. Care to drive to Louisianna for gas? I'll hitch a ride if you are /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
$2.40 a gallon for regular in my neck of the woods. People ask ask me "what kind of mileage do you get with that thing?". My reply is "who cares. I've never checked." /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif
I work the register at a local Amoco, people constantly saying, WOW its never taken $30.00 to fill that thing! THATS HORRIBLE!.... I just stare at them and say I've never owned a vehicle it took less than $30.00 to fill.
Well the link to gas prices really is good as the cheapist I've seen lately is 1.89 and now I have one 3 cent cheaper within 3 miles. Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
if that is up to date. I sent in one for 2.13 that is less than a mile from me, the highest before that they had on the site was 2.09 in PA and well I have seen a lot of stations in the past 2 weeks more than that.
Yea it was dated lunch time yesturday. By the way there Sled dog I have a Husky almost a year old. I had a Husky mix for twelve years untill last fall. He was a real trail guide when 4 wheeling>
haha, snowmobiles /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif sleds, I used to drag race and ride hard, just a name I was given by some friends a few years back. Miss it quite a bit, oh well someday in the not to distant future I will build a drag sled for the street dragstrip /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. Nothing like a 9 second 1/4 mile with nothing around you.
I got "dontoe" when I did heavy construction with a guy named Kenny............Kennysobby and Dontoe. Better than Dr. Smith when in the USAF. My initials.D.R.Smith. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif
there is an interesting subject. The differences between 87,89,and 93(or 92 whatever). Used to be .03 between each grade here. So 93 cost .06 more a gallon than 87, was that way for a long time. Now 87 is 2.08, 89 is 2.15, and 93 is 2.23. Until this recent shortage I've never noticed that when the price went up the different between grade costs changed so dramatically.
Thats from the station I work at, about 2 weeks ago. I had a woman ranting how anyone who buys anything other than 87 is stupid. She was like, does anyone buy the higher stuff anymore? Uhh yeah. WHY?!?! Cause they have to... Huh? Some people have to ma'am, I own at least one vehicle that needs 89. I'd be selling it. I bet you would.
I feel bad for the people that run higher grade fuels and do not have to. Like they pull in with their completely stock 90 something pickup and fill it with Premium. They are the people that you just couldn't explain the idea of fast burn fuels and running the lowest grade you can get away with to.
