Eight days from my last post on this subject, and the gas has gone up 11 cents to $1.89.9 for regular at the no name gas stations. Is this happening in other parts of the country? Or are the people of California standing alone with their elbows on the table.

Nope, Cali is not alone. In Atlanta I had paid 1.179 last post and now it is 1.359

and now on the 14th it is up to 1.45

Well I think all of these prices have gone since this post. I kinow we are at 1.69 for the unleaded here in NJ and my original post two months ago was 1.29..big difference ehh.. sorry it is so expensive up where you are though..what sorta job do you have to afford that ehhh

I don't know about the cheapest but in Northridge SoCal I saw a station with reg unleaded for 2.27 9/10 right
across the street from a station that had it for 1.95 9/10. I tripped out. Proves it's all about greed not supply.

I worked for a Oil Co. a while back and its all a gamble. They buy gas for a set price, depending on the market they make or lose money.But the gas you are buying now was paid for at least a year ago. So just remember, If something happens now its just hype, but the oil company plays on it and charges you more. And as far for California or (Kalifornication): About .43 cents of every gallon of gas you pay for is TAXES. Now filling up my 31 gallon tank in my K5 cost me 63.40. and I get about 7 miles to the gallon in my pig.
