Check it out...Super BLING coolant overflow resivoir!

Summit sells them for like $14 in a slew of colors that have a drain petcock in the bottom. They don't have a bladder in them though so if you put them upside down they will leak unfortunately.

Yeah, but mine doesn't care if 270° water rushes into it, holds a quart, comes with mounting bolts and captive nuts, and will survive my neighbor shooting at it with his pellet gun.

Beat that no sheetmetal boy :wink1:

270°? :eek1: Geez man...I would hope my coolant never gets that hot. Mine NEVER goes more than 5-10° or so higher than than whatever thermostat I happen to have in there. 190° at the moment. I ran a 160° for a loooong time....Never went higher than about 170°...Ever. The engine is running in the picture- the coolant in the bottle in that pic is at 190°. Big ass 4 row diesel/bb rabiator.

Mine holds alittle more than a quart= 40oz.:haha:

Tell me again....How much did you pay for your captive mounting bolts/nuts etc? My zip ties were free. :doah:

And why should a coolant resivoir need to be pellet proof? haha!:haha: :haha::wink1:

Yeah, she steadily creeps up if I keep working 'er. Sustained high RPM and not moving much (if at all) doesn't help much for airflow. I'm running an aluminum S10 radiator now and that seems to work pretty good. She seems to climb to around 230 and sit there.

My other truck... she's the one that always goes to the red. Brand new 3 core and I run 50/50 distilled water. I think it's because it has to suck air through a 3 core radiator, a corroded condensor, and a bigass ATF cooler. I can't believe how many times it has gone to red and survived. The funny thing is that it takes just under a minute to go from 270 to 160 as soon as I let off the throttle.

And yeah, my neighbor likes to shoot at things. 14 dollah for blingety-bling blue with a petcock... you wish you had a petcock. :haha:
