Fully doucumented including window sticker, retail order form, commercial truck order form, protecto plate, bill of sale from origanal owners wife, owners manual, etc. This rig is a time capsule that smells, runs and looks like it's brand new. :haha:if I had the money, I'd bid on it right now!

The last auction ended yesterday at $18,200 reserve not met. If the Jimmy is what he says I think it is worth $25,000+ but look at the radiator support/hood latch. Doesn't look as clean as everything else. Used to have camper mirrors and now has sport mirrors. And no AC.

Nice Jimmy, sme color as mine.

Since he says the tires are original, I'm not sure 35 year old tires would look that good, but heck, it's a nice truck whether it's original or not.

He says the original wheels, tires, and hubcaps are included. He does not say thye ones in the picture are original.

Those are not the original wheels, but as thealien stated, he is including the originals. Nice truck. He'd probably get more $ if he took it to something like Barrett-Jackson.

That thing belongs in a museum, or a show truck circuit or something along the likes. I wonder if Craig has seen this one yet. :D

CASH!

Something fishy about this particular ride IMO.

To many variables within the story.

I agree but when asked about the mirrors he seemed to answer truthfully. Even if it has been cleaned up it is truly a very nice Jimmy, and looks a lot like mine LOL ;)

I agree, absolutely beautiful but sounds to good to be true.

I guess that depends on what he wants?

$20,000 too good to be true

$25,000 what it could be worth if it is the real deal

$30,000 plus, not too good to be true but would love to see it sell for that.

:D:D:rolleyes: sorry, I meant: How MUCH do you have to pay for a good first gen jimmy or K5 ?

VT and myself were talking about a specific Jimmy.

I have heard about blazers for $5-$6,000 but I have never seen one myself. I believe a decent blazer Jimmy will run you about $10,000 but will probably still need something. I bought a (what I thought) pretty nice Jimmy for $9,750 and have put close to $7,000 in to it and I am not done. Did I over pay? Probably but I did not have to ship it, it was local. It is a Jimmy, which is my preference and harder to find. I am doing a lot of the work myself also. I am paying someone to weld up the structural issues and paint my Jimmy. I may get some money back from the original owner but that is another discusion.

Oooh yeah, I'd love to caress those fenders and talk dirty to it! :D

All depends on what you consider "good" but for something even close to rust free and done, expect to start at $15,000.00

I just sold one that I would consider to be "good" and it went for more than $15K.

That rig is worth in the 30K range in my opinion. I paid $9,100 for mine 4 years ago and I think I got an good deal. I've had two people offer me $20,000, but they never came through with money (which I is what expected would happen.) As of right now, I figure that's probably about what it would take for me to actually sell it too (not saying that's what it's worth though).

$21,600 and the reserve is STILL not met!
