Cherry's build thread, DD gone wheeler.

Nice!

Where do yall go wheelin at? I'm about 30 min south of Austin. I'll need a place to go, once I get my truck back up here.

The Mall. =]

Hidden falls mostly. That was out in lago vista, and a few of us have ranches that we go to.

Finally getting rid of the duals. Going with stock manifolds and y-pipe, cat delete, and a fl-pro cat-back system.

So exhaust is almost done. Needs turndowns now. Maybe some axle overs depending on my funds.
I veered from the original plans after the manifolds, lol.
Used the down pipes until the y-pipe. It was 2.5 and I wasn't having that. Made a 3" y, took it up over the crossmember straight to a stainless steel MagnaFlow 3"y in/dual 2.5 out muffler. It sits right under the cat heat shield. Nice and clean.

Sounds MEAN. And way quieter than the dual super 40s.

I gained some major low end with the new found backpressure, but definitely lost some top end.

Only leak is at the manifold to pipe connector on the drivers side. Does anyone know where to get a new gasket? Or whatever its called. They're asbestos so im not sure if I can get an oem style one.

Found it. 6.99 at oreillys

Don't know the part number. It was given to me. Its stainless steel though.

My favorite part is that I can't hear it in overdrive

Very nice, so by going full hydro your not gonna be driving it on the street anymore? Good blazer ethier way.

Its still my dd. My buddy has a single ended psc system on his buggy and it drives better than my truck does.. it takes a bit to get used to the different turns but once you do its pretty nice. After a few other thing on my truck im going to buy a double ended ram.

I don't want to hear any crap from anyone btw. I've heard good and bad stories with full hydro. I'll form my own opinion.

And going back to standard steering consists of bolting on my stock box and removing the ram.

Ya I have heard good and bad as well, I was just wondering because here in Oregon you have to have a mechanical connections to the steering system for it to be legal......I wonder how many people run full hydro on the road?
