I have a pair of marine use Chevy Vortec cylinder heads removed from a 2001 5.7 marine engine. Heads are really clean with minor surface rust from setting around. No sludge or gunk like auto engines have. These would be perfect for street rod or 4x4 truck. I may have valve covers for them as well? Asking price is 300.00 or offer? Located in southwest Ohio. Will ship if your willing to pay, ie heavy!

Any idea if these will work on a 1987 5.7L?

Mine has an Edelbrock MPFI, Edelbrock Headers, CFM Tech High Flow TB, Stroked to 383, all with stock 5.7L Heads...I know my heads are the limiting factor at this point.

Do you know if the Vortec Heads will work on my block?

should work fine, only think is you might have to change your intake, because there is a different bolt pattern i believe, and also need to make sure your compression wont be too high because vortecs have small combustion chambers i believe.
