Chevy's in the wild

This wasn’t spotted in the wild but rather from a barnfind muscle car video on YouTube - just liked the longbed step side look.

Note: This should have gone in the Chevy in the Wild thread - if any moderator sees this please move it if possible, thanks.

I'm told by a dude that knows the owner that all the vehicles on this lot are from Texas and Arizona.

His family owns a bunch of dealerships down there and he brings up the trade ins that would go to auction there.

Great business model really

I didn’t notice the tailpipes.

Not sure why but I have a craving for an old man truck, 6cyl w/ 3 on the tree and probably 32~33” tires. Just a relatively simple daily driver type.

Back in 1983 one of my Buddy’s grandfather gave him his old 66 F-100 with a 240 6cyl. 3-spd combo and it was actually damn fun to drive - of course as teenagers we were happy just driving anything around; especially me since I was three years away from driving legally.

Also had a 69 C/10 with a 250 and 3-spd back in 1989 and I really liked that truck too.

All that being said, my inner redneck genes tell me that any/all Squares with three pedals must be equipped with a granny-gear - it might be a law, I don’t know…

If this urge gets strong enough I got a few extra of those 6-cylinders for ya - don’t have any 3-spds though.

I don't know of any reason to keep or use a 3 speed.
4 or more!!

And I never liked the column shift manuals. Never had a one that wasn't worn out, either, so maybe that has something to do with my opinion.
