Southeast Portland.I was gonna ask if that was in Salem, the siding on that house in the first pic screams Oregon.
Heaven!!
Dads 87 was brown and tan. 305, th350c, either 2.73 or 3.08 gears...real slug.
But it was a purty truck.
I have seen people swap out the 700r4 for th350.It was a th350c. I changed the fluids, filters, and the modulator on it for him. He gave it to me when he bought his first Toyota...
The locking converter would act up at times. I'd be at a stop light and the truck would lurch like I was rear ended
I finally put down to the converter either locking or unlocking when it wasn't suppose to. Ran fine otherwise, except for the aforementioned lack of power.
It was a 1/2 ton...sat low like it had been lowered.
Technically, the TH375B. TH400 with 27 spline outputshaft.Would have been a TH400 in '87, they phased the TH350 out after the TH700R4 replaced it.
