I think that digit indicates the county in the state for Alabama
(Ala has 67 counties)That vanity “91V3500” plate you had was cool - and the truck wasn’t too shabby either !Yeah, it designates the county. Way back when the numbers were assigned it was based on population, I think we’re technically the 3rd largest county now but I don’t think there’s any plans to update it.
Fun fact: when I had my old crew cab I had a vanity plate that read “91V3500” which coincidentally matched the tag numbering system (county number + alpha + numeric sequence). I was approached a couple of times with people asking “which county was number 91?”(Ala has 67 counties)

Did you save the most recent pictures of it?
It’s hard to believe that this truck was blown apart to this level considering how nice and good of shape it was in.Yeah, they're in a CK5 photo album. Here it is as of last year, it's a cobbled up short bed and the TBI 350 / 4l80e are long gone (the gears and lockers are probably gone too).

).If the Le Mans is still for sale I can pass the info on to a friend who is having seller’s remorse about the one he let go. Not sure if he is currently in the market but mentioned again a few months back.Todays batch of GM sittings.
The 65 2DR Impala is at a buddy of mines scrapyard and thankfully got pulled in time to be put aside for someone to get and possibly save.
The 72 LeMans was for sale at Cruis’n the Coast in Mississippi two weeks ago for $9,500 and everything still works and is functional - it’s got exhaust leaks and ain’t hitt’n on all eight but it runs good enough to give off a good Joe Dirt vibe ( this is it at lunch today ). His wife wasn’t too upset but made him swear to finish up the other four auto projects in front of this one before any other money is invested in it - basically what she said about the last project he bought too…. I gotta tell ya we looked pretty pathetic having four red-necks pulling up to the pizza joint in this thing today with Sweet Home Alabama play’n on the tune maker - ole Joe Dirt would be proud !
The rest is just pics of Chevys out and about.

I’m fairly certain that he’s happy with it ( his wife not so much….).If the Le Mans is still for sale I can pass the info on to a friend who is having seller’s remorse about the one he let go. Not sure if he is currently in the market but mentioned again a few months back.
Ah, I misunderstood. I thought he was the seller not the buyer. Nice rideI’m fairly certain that he’s happy with it ( his wife not so much….).
I might have worded that post poorly; my buddy is the one who purchased the Le Mans at CtC a few weeks ago.
He says it will get an LS and OD trans in it once he gets around to it but I am begging him to leave it alone and just freshen it up as is - the car is just in too good of original shape to violate like that.
It’s even got factory air conditioning on a convertible!
