Chevy's in the wild

That mystic paint short bed k30 w/ duramax is pretty sweet, even if i would have done some thing differently if it were my own.

Hes got a couple videos on fb. Hes got a newer rear bumper, which seems to fit quite well. He had bigger wheels on it before

It’s damn clean and straight - plus it looked like it actually gets driven on the streets unlike most of the other trailer queens at the show.

That’s exactly why I had to grab a pic of it. That was a really nice truck, it was clean but looked like it was still used a lot.
Y’all help clear my ever fading memory on this but didn’t the cool fuel injection badge continue on the 88 on up Blazers, Burbs & Crew Cabs or was it truly only for the 1987 model year only?
I think it’s a cool marker either way but I could swear I remember seeing it on the tailgate of squares that came with the cool small quad headlight grill combo and that would mean it came on them at least up to 89 model year run - and I would assume all the way through 1991 ?

It was a beautiful day for a car show.

Note Elvis singing in the background of the Camaro, that was different.

If I had that beautiful 87 K-10 ( I know it’s actually V-10 ) I would put a 4” lift with 33” rubber on it and just drive it everywhere!

Well, I think I would swap the 10B out for a 12B just out of lack of respect for rear 10B’s ( not that the 12’s are much better - just a matter of principle ).

Either way that is one nice truck !

@tarussell the Blazer tailgate emblem had Blazer with Fuel Injection underneath it, all one piece. I’m pretty sure Subs were the same way.

It’s been too long now to be sure but I think my crew cab had an emblem like that 87 pick up. I put a new emblem on it after having it painted but can’t remember before.

I think you are right about your 91 V-3500 having that emblem - they must have used it through the remainder of the square production run.

I know for sure it was 87 only for burbs and blazers.

Fair point about crewcabs, that part i dont know. Never seen the emblems but couple in real life and never on a pickup. I suspect any repaint or whatnot and those would get left off

The wide wheels remind me of truck pullers.
The 20+ crowd on lifted trucks can pound sand.
Yes !!
It pains me at these car/truck shows to see all these trucks with tire and wheel packages like this - in my mind I just concentrate on the classic body lines instead of what they are rolling on.

At this show there were 1,500 trucks entered and the few that I took pics of were the only ones that I could stomach enough to share even though they weren’t completely my style - there was even trucks and Jeeps built up in pink and purple colors mimicking a frigg’n Barbie Doll !!
I ain’t pick’n on what turns these folks on but DAMN… I certainly hope these trucks were their wives ride - they are tak’n things way too much to heart ! I’m just say’n that I really like old John Wayne movies but I’m not gonna turn my truck into a shrine and deck it out to look like McClintock, Big Jake or The Shootist. I just don’t get it….

I don’t get it either. Although there are a some here in SW MI. I think its more prevalent the farther south you go?

Not just good taste, but know how to take care of them
Kind of hard to see because of the hazy pic but it looks like the C-10 just may be a 1987 model with that cool fuel injection badge that y’all were talking about earlier.
Extra cool points for being a TBI truck !
