I have a Holley 80457 on a Chevy 350. On the way back from high junction on Saturday the high idle got stuck. I tried some WD40 and some carb cleaner and that didn't seem to solve anything and ended up just shoving a rock in the actuator to keep it from kicking on. I've had problems with this choke before (finding a igntion switched 12v source) and I'm tempted to rip it out and replace it with a manual choke (if they make one for my carb).
Any suggestions?
