I have a B-52 set up up front, shackle flip out in rear, not sure on the springs. How do I determine what size shocks to get? Should I run double shocks per side up front? Thinking of Bilsteins 5100.

The only way to know exactly is to cycle the suspension from bump to fully extended and measure. There are some general shock lengths that work depending on your setup.

What length springs do you have front and rear?
Original shock mounts?
What are you using the truck for?

No need for double shocks. That will actually make it ride worse.

The B-52 set up up front should make it a softer ride. I do have 3 batteries up from with a custom bumper and winch. But I could always add shocks up front. 52" springs up front and stock mounts. In the rear got stock mounts also, well I think so. Front has Dana 60 3/4 ton and 14 bolt rear.

If you don’t have access to a forklift or ramp to properly cycle the suspension, you don’t plan to off-road it hard, and you’re keeping the stock mounts front and rear - I would do 10” front and 12” rear.

If you have an engine hoist, you can use that to pick up a corner from the wheel, carefully. and can possibly get a measurement that way.

Is it better to relocate front shock mounts? Is there one without welding? What about rear?
