Seeing we really don't get that much air in Arizona and the tops are so heavy, I decided to cut down on the weight. A sawsall and some fiberglass and poof

Y thanks, been a long time getting it to this point but it's been in AZ all its hole life so I had a solid start.

Thanks brother just about done would like to hang a winch under the bumper yet and hide a light bar behind the grill.

Good idea for the light bar. You will not regret installing a light bar. I have 2 on my trucks and installed several on friends trucks. I see more and more light bars folks are putting on their cars and trucks. Guess I started something. Cheap insurance on the mountain. Way too many elk and deer on the roads at night.

Looks good man. The 1/2 top turned out pretty good.
When you put the light bar behind the grill, I'd love to see how it turns out. I'm interested in doing the same.

Wow. I sold my half top because I always have my kids with me. Mine still had the back window to Make mine look Like a pickup though. You did a great job on your truck.

Well have had it for 6 years, she is a true Arizona truck but did spend a few years in Mexico but never titled. When I got it it had just been painted no grill or head lights and the strip was done in silver leaf. When the sun hit it it was blinding. Only problem is it wasn't clear coated so it started to peal :( so I had strip painted silver and pinstriped. Add a new factory gauge cluster, factory spare tire holder, all new wiring harness, new grill and head light bezels, install 76 bucket seats ( but would like some stock seats) and just added 5 new 33 12,50/ 15 other than a few little things that's adout it. It's my daily driver very dependable and the chopped top is perfect for the weather in Arizona the sun is brutal.

Thanks, people think it's a short bed truck with the rear window removed

Sure the light bar will be easy finding a winch and mounting it behind the stock bumper will be the trick. I will probably have to make my own bracket.

They sell brackets to install winch behind the bumper. Not sure who does it but I've seen them. Hard part is doing it without cutting a hole in the stock bumper.
