Chromo axle shafts for a Dana 44????

I know some guys running 38s and chro mos but one is on an early bronco and the other on a jeep cherokee both D44 fronts.

You will be fine I would imagine but if you ever go to 40s you are starting to really stress the limits of them. Then again guys I know who have found 60s havent had a ton of trouble selling their fancy shafts either

I ran a 44 with a truetrac on aggressively cut 36" TSLs and never broke a shaft...

I've also seen guys break ever time they went out...

I wouldn't spend anything on 44 shafts, just carry spares...

You could always part out your 44... It's worth more in pieces than complete...

And for the record, I got my 60 with 35 splines, 4:56s and lock right for free...:D

stomis's setup is supposed to be the strongest as far as ive heard.i will be going this rought eventually as money allows.i never plan on anything bigger than 37's,so they will probly last damn near forever.

Hey I was wondering if you have any more great deals like you got on your 60 Im getting tired of replacing my shafts
