we will head in off road on the 29th,figure 1st day in to be 10-12 hrs we will be making 1st camp on the big oshetna.ericcan sorta tell how long a day that will be even if the trails are dry.
sound advice Eric, Like I said above if you have camping gear, then UPS it or Mail it up a week or two ahead of time . if you don't then just buy it up here and then mail it back to yourself when your done. saves big on excess bagagge

I plan on going. The only problem is I have military training starting the 7th.
Hopefully the Suburban will be ready this year.
Mike that should still work out, if anything maybe we could come out on Thursday And have a Day of rest and touristy stuff for our Canadian and Lower-48 crew
I wanna go...... And I understand you guys are setting this up, but we've had a stock 1995 nissan and a stock 1994 F-350 Crew cab back there. Off of the head waters of the little O...... That being said, I have access to a cabin to stay in about 50 miles out of the parking out. Its a small trapping cabin so its 10'X12'. My blazer should be good to go by then.

I would like to explore some by the Tyone. We could go to Andys place out there. Hes got alot of equipment and has had a good size mining operation going on. If it all goes through ill have 2-3 seats open if theres a few people that dont have seats.

Add Bailey to the list of riders I am taking her.

lol, I'm going to fix that this winter. Either going to pull leafs out of the 5/4 ton spring or do a 56"/63" suspension. I might bring my family this year, Claire will be old enough to enjoy it.
That would be way cool, I have to check with Kristle to see if we can make it work but just the ticket for Bailey to come with me would be almost a grand, tickets for Bailey and Kris ( Sawyer will be able to ride on her lap) will be 1250 about, going to see if I can make it happen.

Well, I am officially calling it -- I'm in for 2012! Eureka or bust!
I've only got a few modifications in mind for the trip... Swing out tire carrier / gas can carrier is going on a new rear bumper, rat pack for carrying tools that flips over the rear seat to make a level bedding area in the rear, box rail tool box and a cargo carrier on the roof for clothing / bedding & food.
Oh, and tractor tires. Definitely running tractor tires.... I've tracked down a set of 11.2-16 Dyna Torque II Goodyears up here for it. They measure out to about 35", which is roughly 1" shorter than the tires I've got right now. Measure 11.2" wide. Hydro assist, front track bar and better rear suspension will be done long before the trip as well.
