its more than just pictures, you can google search for pictures. i was against the paying thing at first too, but finally i decided its only 25 bucks, let me try it. And let me tell you, its been worth its weight in gold. I can guarantee you wont find a better bunch of guys and gals on any other forum. And the knowledge about these trucks on here is incredible.
you will find more info and correct info here than a hayes or chillton repair book .

and to answer the OP question, no you don't, you could always go some place else and hope for a good experience

I can attest this place is more useful, even in general for other makes and models to than most other forums I've been on. Take gmt400 for instance, totally useless for actual help. I get more help with my 94 GMC here than I could possibly ask for on a website dedicated to it.

Cool im just new to the forums so im like not in tune with how it works i belong to another forum and all u pretty much have to do is work ur way up to be able to see the classifieds and sell also but u dont have to pay but even there im still a newbie so when it said i have to pay i just thought it could be a scamits more than just pictures, you can google search for pictures. i was against the paying thing at first too, but finally i decided its only 25 bucks, let me try it. There are perks to it like being able to sell in classifieds and discounts from parts venders on here. Also are drawings good for paying members only as well. If you are building your truck and have a problem, these guys on here know every aspect of gm made trucks. Welcome to the site.even if you don't buy membership these guys are standup guys and will help anyone that needs it.
