I want to say it is well worth the price of the ticket! You will find that the information here goes a long way. There are benefits that come with time served (read as a member). Once people know you and you get to know others you will see we are like a band of brothers.
Guys who travel hook up and bonds are formed. Over time we even help other members in moving parts across the country. We even check out vehicles for each other.
I can tell you that your post will be seen here more than other forums because as said it is an addiction to come check here. Think of the membership fee as paying for a 24 hr help line.
Unlike other sites the Mr. I know it all and my truck is bigger and badder types do not last here. We do not talk shiz like Pirate forums.
Even our yearly get together in Moab is family friendly. Kids and wives go to and every one seemed to be having a good time.
Heck in my travels I have enjoyed the guys I meet and broke bread with. So to answer your question; yes, yes you do! Pop for it and enjoy warm fuzzy feeling of belonging!

To the OP. I was just a hang around for a couple of years until I really needed help with my rig. I signed up just to ask some questions and interact on the classifieds. Turns out that the $25 turned into thousands in savings while improving my rig. I also found a group of guys who really have fun and hold similar interests and values as I do.... well worth it.
