Basicly what i need to know for you guys is this: Will a 81-87 grill fit in any newer model trucks?
Like the 88/89/90/ or 91. I just need to know if my 81-87 model grills will fit other years.
Picts and info greatly appreciated.

The prototypes look awesome for the 81-87's. Will post some picts in my vendor forum ASAP.! I'm not here to advertise, just need some info on these years.... Thanks, Larry Hartley:D

Hey burbanbeast! I dig the custom fender work there, but don't you feel that on road handling is better with a wheel and tire? LOL, sorry dude, thats got to suck!

now that you mention it watching that tire roll across the street it did seem like it handled pretty well haha (srry bout the off topicness man)

just so you know the gmc and chevy grills fit totaly diffrent in the way thay mount in relation to the headlight bezzels. i have both at home and can post pics for ya.

sweetK30, that is the kind of info i need. Whould be nice to know the width
(bezel to bezel) and height of both model grills, Thanks....

here ya go boys.

as you can see in the pics the grill if removed completly. you will need to add 2 tabs on each side to suport the headlight bucket door units. thay dont use the 2 top and 2 bottom screw holes like 81-87 style. thay use 2 top and 2 side threw grill holes.

and in the gmc grill it might look super funny and ugly with out the grill frame still in there as to the way the headlight bucket doors are made. i think best would be make it so you cut out the mini grill section of the main grill and leave it in there.

if you need specific specs just ask.
