CK5 vs Camel challenge

I went wheeling with a Defender 90 once and it had to lock the front lockers on slickrock climbs that my blazer climbed with open front diff. In mud it might be different thoughand I don't think that I would want to abuse my K5 like they abuse those Camel trophy trucks.

what is that? can't quite wrap my brain around that

That is what LR calls their heavy duty diff. Don't think of the pinion from the R&P, its the actual diferential. Similar design to the FF14B & HD Toyota. Also called the cross shaft in a 2 pinion set up.

Hey guys thanks for all the replies, and it is called the Camel Trophy not the camel challenge sorry about that. Also what I was trying to say is the stock Camel trophy trucks against any modified K5 Blazer or Burb from stock to 12" lifts and 44" tires and up, just what ever kind of truck you have and verse them on one of there adventures or on four wheelers top truck challenge or what ever course you can think of. It's really there trucks vs any CK5 truck. I know Land rovers are very capable trucks but I know I have seen some more than capable K5's and Burbs.

You are totally right!! Those guys are all about explorationand stuff. I was just impressed by what they can do.

i have to say i like land rovers and stuff..they wheel too thats good in my book. they're out to have fun...thats what its all about. exploring is fun too.
