Yup that was me It was actually the 1/2" drive stuff that failed. I got them out with my 3/4" drive stuff and a piece of 7/8 hex stock, but as mentioned most likely the kingpins will be ok and just the bushings and springs need replacing.

my tools.

300 shipped ebay used snap on tourqe wrench

and used 3/4" drive to 1" drive adaptor ebay shipped for around 25 bucks.

and 7/8 allen drive bit unit for 1" drive new just under 100 bucks.


ya ya ya lots of money but i got the stuff and its mine. if i ever need it again i got it.

i have a problrm with the lower kingpin brearing race. Its is stuck and is refusing to budge and let me get what is left of the dust sheild out after i have ben the crap out of it . any ideas guys. I will post a pics of my kingpinds to be evaluated

get the kingpin out and use a punch through the KP hole. itll come right out.
