Just kind of testing the waters with this; I'm wanting to downsize to a 1st Gen 4Runner or ZR2 blazer, but I'm not sure. Thought I'd see what kind of interest there is;
Truck is a 90 K5, stock as a rock with all options besides power mirrors. All power windows and locks work well. The interior is exceptionally clean-no real carpet or seat wear, no stains, ground in grime, etc. The dash has a couple cracks, but it has a dashpad so they're unnoticeable. It does need a new rear DS seat belt that bolts to the floor but other than that it's CLEAN.
The exterior looks good with a couple minor flaws. Windshield has a crack, there's a softball sized chunk of rust behind the DS rear wheel well and a dent/gouge about the size of a deck of cards in the DS door. Looks like the hood caught some light hail as well, but it's not too bad. Otherwise the paint shines, no clearcoat peeling-it's a sharp truck.
Mechanically needs nothing. Truck has just over 160k miles, and the original owner had Burt Chevy install a Goodwrench engine at 104k (don't know why). He kept every single service and maintenance record on this thing from 89 when he bought it! Doesn't leak anything nor does it look like it ever has.
This is one of the 4 or 5 cleanest K5s I've ever seen and without a doubt cleanest I've owned.
I don't know what it's worth, so please feel free to guide me on price; similar trucks in the denver metro are getting 4800, so let's say $4000 OBO, and I'll consider trades. Feedback appreciated too on price!
Also forgot to mention it has a Python alarm with remote door locks and an older Pioneer double DIN stereo. I can get more pics of anything if needed.
PM me here or email [email protected]
