Cleaning IAC

What is the procedure for cleaning the IAC? What do you use to clean it? I am trying to track down the rough idle in my TPI setup and want to clean the IAC and see if that helps at all.

Just carefully wipe any carbon off the pintle seat and do the same inside the throttle body seat. Be carefull not to push/pull/twist on the pintle though or you'll ruin the IAC motor.
