Clear Mud Flaps

they check the simpleton stuff first..

any leaks
headlights
highbeams
turn sigs
horn
wipers
brakes
emissions

they jack the front up and shake the hell out of it

make sure nothing is boogered.. all good lift parts... no blocks up front.. but my ord zero rates passed with 0 questions...

back mudflaps
front mudflaps
only 2 aux lights
exhaust needs to exit vehicle.. unless pickup.. can dump 12" behind cab which is how mine is.. only cuz i havent figured out what i want to do yet... thinking flappers up through the bed...

the real problem with swapping tires is if you go to events... and the cops ask for your paperwork or look at your windshield... or DOT pulls you over and asks.. or local cops pick on ya.. once they know the truck and if you are out of compliance.. $146 fine... each day they get you....

see sticker next to regular...

Too much b.s. to go thru.

I still like my answer above.

Move out of NJ. Now. And hurry!

Here in Iowa we don't have sniffer tests inspections or anything as long as your not running open headers and your vehicle fits in its marked lane and your lights work including lisence plate light your good! Pretty easy to register too! Only bad thing is there is not alot of places to wheel, none of our off road parks allow trucks or jeeps or buggys only motorcycles and quads! Luckily we have some nice private clubs with awesome grounds to wheel on check out miobi on youtube and see for yourself! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTO-OVSBuf0

WOW!!!:eek1:

What a crock... Aren't the stock tires on a K5 31s??? That said 38 or 6" over stock, which ever is less...

Up here my Blazer is registered as a collector vehicle... Never needs tabs again... People ask how I did it and I tell them it's a rat rod...:haha:

The rat rod guys can run without mudflaps with all kinds of custom crap done to their cars...

Thing is, I can only put something like 3000 miles on it a year... There's something about using it in parades or club events... I'm the Vice-President of Wheelers Of Washington... Every time I go wheeling it's an official event...:D

My rig gets trailered to the trails anyways, so I don't really care one way or the other... I just didn't want to buy tabs every year for it...:thumb:

well the 11" over stock is door height.. they say my door stock is 22" so im allowed 33"... ford and dodge are allowed 36" to bottom of door.. mainly because they say their frame is lower... and a chevy frame is higher...

i was going to get historic.. no inspection at all.. but the truck has to be unmodified....
i thought about trying historic... we will see......

i know yall say move... my point is... i will conform to the law 100%... and want to drive it whenver i want... no matter what... so i cant be harrassed.....
