Jesse Still works that afaik . I bs'd with him before he took it. I was gonna ask him for a ride actually but didnt get a chance.
I was told he doesnt, thus the reason they sold the tubing bender, notcher, and axle spline cutter. I dont think they are making custom chassis anymore :(

On Saturday, Phil went out with the Land Cruiser guys. Eric, Todd, Mark and I took the GMCs out with BigBird4wd, his friend Aaron and their daughters. So here are the rigs:

Saturday Pics:

First we drove the Green trail, which is basicaly a wooded series of steep ascents and descents, which are mostly straight.

We climbed some sand hills:

Everybody made this climb except for the Jeep, which had to take another route:

Here is the Yellow Toyota that rolled:

The Toyotas didn't wheel on Sunday, so in the morning it was Clifford, Blue85 and Todd (lrazer) on his quad runner. We hit the dunes and then drove the creek. Coming out of the creek is a hill climb that I didn't make for the second day in a row :(. Clifford made it both times due to equal parts bead locked 39.5s and full throttle driving.

Todd rolled his quad down there and decided to ride in a truck for the afternoon.

At lunch, we met Ty and his wife Missy(?) from the West side of Michigan. He has a Ranger on 39.5 Iroks with full-width axles, leaf springs, ram assist steering and the engine/tranny/t-case all moved back in the chassis.

We headed out on Green trail, where Erik's shifter broke. Blue85 pulled Clifford aroud a few times trying to get a line where he could roll down an exit in nuetral, but it just kept rolling into a tree.

After that was fixed we went back to the rock quarry:

This double-bump is actually taller than it looks. We all drove it, but it took me a few attempts and some good wheelspin to get up the second half.

Ty was a good driver and his 4-cylinder (fully locked) rig walked up almost everything:

The problem is that he babies it and is afraid to use the throttle.....NOT!! :haha:

He was definately entertaining with full throttle, bouncing climbs and constant sheetmetal customizing. He even drove straight into a tree hanging across the creek trying to get it out of the way. He didn't even have low range most of the weekend, so he throttled over the rocks as well - sometimes in 2WD! Both headlights were knocked out, both fenders damaged (one almost ripped off), both bedsides dented and the tailgate wrinkled.

It's looks like I missed a great wheeling trip..:(
I'd like to see some footage of the chevy trucks..:wink1:
