Anyone with a 69-72 blazer have a good guess as to how much floorpan modifications I would need to do to use a doubler? It sounds like clocking is 2" up gives more clearance but would require more modifications to the floor. Pictures would be cool as well!

I don't have any idea what the clearances are but have you considered a 1" body lift to gain some if you need it.

I have found that the 1" body lift is very nice when it comes to that little bit of extra clearance as well as room to route and work on things.

Just a thought.

Yea, a body lift is an option. Will just 1" take care of everything or will there still need to be more cutting? I got my seat mounts all worked out and I'm trying to not mess with them anymore unless it's really needed.

I couldn't imagine needing to clearance anything with a 1" body lift BUT I don't have a first gen and it's been a real long time since I saw one with a doubler in it.
Stephen might know off the top of his head. Try giving them a call and see what he has to say.
