Clocking Ring Install-208

Really??? I'm still not impressed. Oh, well. We were talking about clocked 208's (which I have) anyway.

It looks just like the one I used in my sub-buggy. My 78 k5 with a 4 speed has the same one, a darn good factory piece I think.

Yeah, for my 350/400/208 combo. I found it satisfactory for my needs. Other than bolting on a skidplate, it was never altered. Too bad the exhaust is so ugly :doah: :blush: :blush: :blush:
 
Heres what I did over the weekend. My clocked and stuffed 241. No body lift, lots of cutting on the floor, custom crossmember.

What does your front DS angle look like?? Can you put a angle meter on the ds for me??

Its pretty bad. I wish I had the coin for a better then stock CV. I did grind the stops down a bit since Im supposed to be going out this weekend. Going to lengthen my spare so that incase I do blow it I will still have a usable spare. Anyone know of any good junkyard CVs to look for?
If I did not grind it down it was binding just sitting there. Not too bad, but it was enough to make me grind away.

heres a good link! that's what I'm going to do. And then build a square shaft.
 
Thanks. I was looking at it yesterday thinging about doing that. I guess Ill have to try it after this trip.
