randys ring pinion give them a call i got good service there

that is all i did and think they gave me precision gear.... i think but dont remember.... it is going to be personal preference..... I know nothing about gears so that was my choice.. call randys and let them mail it to me .....

Most guys I know have precision gears form Randy's Ring and Pinion. They havn't had any problems as of yet and some guys been running them for a few years now. I am running stock :( , but that is what I want to run. Somewhere like 4.56 up.

I have Precision Gear for the D60, can't find a set of 5.13's for the 14ff they're back-ordered until sometime in September. :frown1:

Randy's were real helpful. Saved me some money too.
They recommended Yukons for me.

For a street rig...Precisions
Offroad...Yukon's.

Precision's are the quietest gears...for highway use...next to GM gears.

Clicky, I have Yukon 5.13's for sale right now.
Holy high price batman :eek1: . I got my Yukon's for $175 to my door.

As for the question, precision are going to be the best made gears but they are also the most expensive. Yukon's are good strength for the money. I am running Yukons and havent had a problem yet.

I voted Yukon. I have Yukon 5.13's, and have been impressed with the quality.

When buying rebuilding kits...be carefull of Yukon's kits...
They advertize that Timken bearings are used...wrong...
those dorks gave me Bower carrier bearings with Timken races...
so I had to purchase 2 Timkens...to finish the job right.

Precision has the best kits...with good shims to work with.
