Clunking sound in front end ???

For the last week or so I have been noticing this clunking sound in my front end. I will come to a dead stop and then take off and it will clunk. Sometimes quietly, sometimes really loud, and sometimes not at all. When it does do it, I can feel it at my feet. It kind of sounds like when you are not in four wheel drive and your hubs are still engaged. Any ideas ? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Thanks.

Could be a bad tranny or engine mount letting the transmission and tcase swing up and hit the floor.

Check your U bolt. Mine did the same thing then SNAP!
