I've checked rock auto and various other places and can't seem to find the remote style clutch fluid reservoir for our trucks.

I'm looking for the reservoir, diaphragm and cap and can't seem to find it

I've seen a universal type deal from Wilwood but it's a large reservoir for mechanical brakes it look like.

Found something from Tilton, universal thing similar to Wilwood's.

No junkyards anywhere around here have squarebody's so that's a no-go.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that GM has discontinued all of these items.

Doea anyone have a source or something aftermarket that they used?

I don't want to have to use a mountain dew bottle or anything lol.

Are you kidding me? I pulled the reservoir from the same truck that supplied the pedals. And the oddly-shapped box definitely had room for it. I even pulled the stamped sheet metal piece that adapts it to fit onto the wiper motor mount. :doah:

Probably better ordering a new one. But the mounting plate is handy if you don't wanna punch 2 new holes in your firewall.

The funny part is I almost threw in the old M/C for ya, but you had mentioned using the Novak slave, so I didn't know if they would be compatible. And they're so cheap you may as well start with fresh seals instead of old brittle factory stuff.

I got the master cylinder for like $10.50 new from rockauto but they don't carry the reservoir.

The other reservoirs (universal type) don't come with a diaphragm or hint to any P/N's for a diaphragm.

I found this on rockauto and I called the company that manufacturers it to ask if a diaphragm was included, if so I was gonna see if they would sell me a couple of the reservoirs by themselves.

They were closed today so I'll try back monday.

The factory master will work with the novak slave. Factory master has a .699 bore, novak slave has a .750 bore.

I'll be close to 1:1 ratio between the two pieces.

Sorry I spoke too soon, it's not in my box of left over clutch junk so I must have given it to someone. Sorry.

No worries. There's gotta be plenty of reservoirs floating around out there that'll work, I just need to find one lol.
