Clutch master cylinder mounting.

I got lucky- there was a crusie control line running through a hole the perct location and size for my clutch master cylinder. Now- what is the easier way to mark the holes to drill so i can drill them from the opposite side? Also, can i use a couple washers under the maser and the firewall because the pedal bracket limits my clutch pedal travel necessary by about ¼" also it'll sit flatter on the firewall that way

doesn't matter now, i'm done anyway, no washers.

How do i bleed the system??
