I've been researching different clutches and have been hearing good things about LUK clutches especially the gold pro line. Problem is I've got a 406 in my blazer with a 465 out of a 78. LUK doesn't make a gold pro for this application only OEM replacement. Can I use a different application as long as it's an 11 inch clutch? I know the flywheels are different between 350's and 400's but I just don't think the OEM replacement is going to hold up to my 406. Any suggestions?

You can use an 11" or 12" clutch on any SBC AFAIK.

I have a 12" centerforce II in mine and its not specific to the 400 crank/flywheel that I have.

I like my centerforce but the LUK in my DD is good too. The centerforce is better IMO but its more money and that's a decision you have to make.
