So Cal.
It's FINALLY time, well almost anyways. Our mill arrives at 9 am tomorrow morning. I have a CRAP TON of work still to do, but we're ready for the machine now. I'll get the work done as I can. So get this. Last year on 8/16/12, I started my first session on infusion chemo tretments. It was actually scheduled on the 17th which is my birthday, but I said HELL NO! I'm NOT getting chemo ON my freakin birthday, so I opted for the day before. I felt great on my birthday due to the steroids I had been given intravenously, but crashed hard on the day after. Now, a year to the day later, I'm getting this new cnc mill and starting a machine shop. If that isn't kicking cancers ass I don't know what is.

I'll be up bright and early tomorrow morning continuing working while waiting for the mill to arrive. I just hope I can get some sleep tonight. I'm giddy like a damn school girl waiting for her first kiss :haha:. Or something like that. Lets just say I'm god damn excited to say the least. I'll be getting pictures of most everything as it arrives on the truck, as it's being unloaded and moved in and once it's in the garage. And of course I'll be posting machining videos of some parts here and there. Stay tuned....:waytogo:

Stuffin it in the garage! :D. This is the last one I took yesterday. I'll get more today of it unpackaged. We took off all the wrapping and crap and did some setup of it. Got the coolant takn setup. Man, it was hot yasterday, but I was like a kid in a candy store. Worked till I was shaky and needed food badly. Had to go eat, then run errands for more supplies. Sore and tired today but have to clean up the patio area for my birthday party tonight. I'm going to be dead tonight.

You can see where I had to modify the beam over the gagare door. I installed a new beam over the exsisting beam and tied it into the exsisting structure WAY stronger then the old one was. Then cut out the old one and the stucco with a skill saw and straight edge for a clean cut all the way across the garage. THAT was some work. And I did it while not moving a single thing in the garage, or removing the garage door. Bout killed myself nearly falling off the shear a couple times having to climb around up on stuff. But I got it done cause I'm kicking cancers ass. And I did ALL the work by myself too while feeling sick from my chemo meds :waytogo:. I'm NOT lettin this crap stop me from ANYTHING.
