little slice of the world...
so you consider something that has lasted a yr some highly durable product? give it a couple yrs, especially if it has no topcoat...
it's like Fram filters.. people buy hype and if enough money is spent on advertising, it becomes gospel.... people looking for a magic snake oil..
you'd think the stuff was god's jizz... it's an air-dried resin encapsilating primer, end of story.. it works well sometimes, and sometimes it fails.. conditions and uses depending... it's not ALWAYS gonna fail, but it will sometimes..
it's best used when you can fully coat something with no exposed edges... we used to use it all the time on rusty v'drives and gears in the boats 20 yrs ago.. sometimes it would hold up good, sometimes it would be failing miserably in a yr or 2.. all rust is not equal..
different uses increase or decrease the percentage that it will fail or survive.. just like all body work, no gaurantees, but increasing your odd's is always advisable..
