87 K5 350 TBI 700R4 Headers/dual exhaust
Thanks again, CK5 members, for helping me with the overheating issue discussed earlier. The Blazer runs great and doesn't overheat.
I'm in the process of adjusting the tranny cable to make it shift like it's suppose to. Nothing major. Just a couple more trips around the area and it will be good.
My concern is a code 15. The CEL came on for a sec and then went off. It happened at idle and when I took off, the light went out. I checked the ECM with the shorting clip and got code 15.
The Blazer had a single exhaust but I went to duals with headers. I had to have a bung welded onto one of the headers for the O2 sensor and I was wondering if the code 15 had something to do with the one wire O2 sensor? Should I go with the 3 wire O2 sensor?
Another thought is, I replaced the stock water temp gauge with an aftermarket electric one. Is the ECM not getting the correct temp reading because the aftermarket temp gauge is not hooked up to the dash circuit?
What are your thoughts and ideas on this?
