Colby`s First gen Duramax 01 lb7

Looks good! Gonna have to do mine this spring, I think it's even further gone than this one was.

Thank you!
It's a lot of work... I hope you can do it yourself!?
To pay a shop to do it would be... Not worth it.

I just seen a pic of your tuck today! It looks good!

Did you do the EZ liner on your truck too? I like the lines of the GMC but the trim of a chevy I dont think it fits very well. Gonna have to coat the crap out of mine if I plow with it next winter.

I haven't done anything with mine yet. But it is just as bad! :poo:

Oil the crap out of yours! There is plugs on the inside of the rockers and rear fenders you can pull out and spray oil into.
I wish I would have done that with my 02.

Yeah I'm going to weld all the panels in myself. And the body shop guy at work owes me a favor for swapping a trans in his car so he is going to paint it up the the body line with chip guard under the paint.

Nice!

So both our kids turned 16 June 26, they had appointments to get their drivers licences on the 28th "that was the closest time from their birthday that they could get.

So at 4:15am we all were up and out to the barn to milk the cows. 9:00am we were at the Insurance office...Colby was first...Pass!! Katelyn went next...pass!! :waytogo::saweet:

Neat as **** to have twins that both got there licences on the same day so soon after there birthday, and they took the test in our 02 Crewcab Duramax! Not some sort of compact for these kids. Totally farmer style! :haha:

So three years after Colby bought his Duramax it will finally get plates and Insurance TODAY!! Very cool!

Kates trailblazer still needs some work so it will wait for a few weeks yet before it is on the road.

We have some cool upgrades for the old truck coming up "Hint" PPE, H2, BFG. and some other crap!

well done Konrads!
so are the mods for Colby's truck?

Thanks Dave!

Mods are fairly standard...PPE tune, PPE boost valve, pyro and boost gauge, 5th gear lock out, wheels tires, small lift for the front. Maybe 4 or 5 inch exhaust...the stock straight pipe is loud and drones.

Colby and I went and drove his truck for a couple of hours today picked up some tires for Kate's Trailblazer and then some chicken feed.

Truck drove great... everything worked perfectly!
And the exhaust wasn't as bad as we thought it was.

Might just leave that alone?

Really a nice truck to ride around in! Colby is a happy kid!
