it's my first decent garage... here's the last one:

at least u still got something to put stuff in, when i dont
great tips on the body filler. i'll have to check into that.Colby I could be wrong here but Im pretty sure body filler should only go on bare metal. I dont think it would stick to por 15 very well.
Of course Im not a body and fender man but I do know I was told to only bondo bare metal. Perhaps por 15 and rust bullet have properties that the bondo will stick to. One of the real body men should give an oppinion on this.
Personaly I wouldnt bother with body filler since your not building a show rig. Even if you was, I wouldnt bother with putting any on the floor boards. The por 15 should self level and smooth it out some and if you herc or another kind of bed liner stuff the floor wont be smooth anyway.
The only other thing I can think of is the area that was a footwell for the back seat, will now be an empty space between your body and frame. Have you thought about a built in tool well OR a place to put an OBA tank. It would be cool to see you use that space somehow. Maybe even a batt. box?
Anyway looks like your in for alot of fun, I always like reading your threads. Ill be sure to keep up on both this one and the one in the 73-91 forum.
i have a '73 frame i'm gong to use now, so there won't be that space, but i wonder if i could still fit an OBA tank there.... hmmm.

I know you decided not to go with the bondo on the floor ,but I still figure I`d share this little tidbit. Putting bondo on something that flexes (the floor) probably isn`t a smart thing to do, as it will crack. POR15 and a bedliner will be plentyi was thinking if it truly isn't structural rust, i'd coat it with POR-15 and then some body filler to smooth it out, and then herc. it up.![]()

, everybody else seems to be able to see them. wierd.
