Wow, that is quite the setup there :waytogo:
Can't wait to retrieve my nv4500!

Geoff, whens the next trip back east? And do you ever go to Maryland?

Dave, we haven't forgot about you! We're full-time with this now. Once we're a touch more stable, we'll be able to venture off the I-70 track again.

sounds good then Geoff...let me know when your on the hunt again...I have a few things on the wish list.

If you meet up with dave sometime. I need a set of doors!! Like, rust free, dent free, no bondo necessary. Just paint and slap on kinda doors

Any chance of finding 76-78 long bed dual tank round cap gas doors bedsides?

we are in debate about puling the bed from out personal 76 crew cab in favor of a gooseneck flatbed. It can be viewed at post 139 here http://coloradok5.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3170114&postcount=139. Not looking to remove the sides but are considering the sale of the entire bed.

Another D60 & D70HD. :D
Where are they and where exactly are you again?

If you and dave are anywhere near eachother and can get a good enough request for available parts together. I can get them "somewhat close" if one of you is willing to meet and pick up the load. I know a set of doors is no problem. I have a set of maroon ones with suburban power guts on hand in CO.

Have you guys thought about hauling axles and the like from east to west? Around here anything but the drivetrain rots out, so you can pick up d60s for 400 if you look a little

We had first brought stuff from east to west. Motors, trans, axles etc. The gatehring of these parts and how quick they sold didnt seem to work out nearly as well as the opposite way.

unfortunately, Driveline stuff is as easy to get out there as it is here for the most part. We also found that the amount of time we spend out there gathering sheet metal takes up ALL of our time. With just two of us, the time juggle was too much. And to top it off trying to sell someone a motor, trans, axle etc that looks like it came from the ocean floor, compared to the clean mid west, was a hard sell.

We are looking for things to back haul if anyone needs something moved preferably on the I-70 route!

I'm sure I can ship the trim and door panel when I get them. I have a tailgate and bumper for the 01. I actually have a complete shortbed for the 01.

Very interested in the bed how is the top bed rail part where the camper sits on? How is the inside wheel wells any rot anywhere besides behind the back wheels? what are you looking for it?

All other parts of the bed are flawless. There is a small hole for a harness to come through, and some small holes in the bed for rails. As for the upper rails, perfect. There was a lot of care put into everything that was done with this truck over it's life span. I will let you know if we decide to remove the bed for sure.

Sounds good Lmk as soon as you can if possible. I found a rust free dual tank square gas door bed not to far from me but if I can get a round cap gas door bed I much rather wait for that, any idea on a price your looking for it?
Thanks,
Sean
